How to Optimize your Keywords

Today we will talk about keywords. Keywords are very important if your goal is to be on the top of your niche meaning if you want to be on the top 10 or the first or second page in the google search page when people type your keywords. Competition is tough so you need to think carefully on what keywords you want to focus on.

So let's start off with the step by step process:

1. You have to decide what keyword phrase you want to focus on. 3-4 words in a phrase would be the most ideal. You may need keyworddiscovery.com to help you out on this.
2. Answer the question "What is your primary keyword phrase?" For example, my primary keyword phrase is "make money online pinoy".
3. Answer the question "What is your secondary keyword phrase?" For example, my secondary keyword phrase is "work from home pinoy".
4. Answer the question "What is your specialized keyword phrase?" For example, my specialized keyword phrases are "make money online philippines, make money online filipino, work from home philippines, work from home filipino, make money online manila, work from home manila."
5. Bear in mind the general keyword strategy - "optimize each page for ideally no more than two different keyword phrases"
6. Your homepage needs to contain your primary keyword and your best secondary keyword. For instance, "make money online pinoy" and "work from home pinoy".
7. Your contact us and about us page needs to contain several of your primary keyword phrase. For instance, "make money online pinoy".

After you're done with these steps, you need to generate link exchanges. Keep in mind that you need to have a lot of links with your keyword from other websites or blogs linking back to your blog or website. There are other ways to do this. We will discuss this later on.
