How to Structure your Site Correctly

You need to structure your site correctly for google to crawl smoothly to your site and get your site or blog to a higher rank.
Here are some tips:
- Structure your site or blog by theme or topic - you need to categorize your blog nicely. Put similar topics in the same category. Sample categories such as make money online, blogging, ebay items, ebooks, etc.
- Create pages with content - the general rule is that your site or blog will rank better if you have more pages in it with a minimum of 200 words per page but not too many flowery words. It is better to have more pages with lesser words than fewer pages with more words.
- Don't have too many subfolders in your site or blog - as much as possible your pages should be on the same folder as your homepage or at most one subfolder deep.
- Don't fill your blog or site with too much code - your visible content text must be more than your javascript codes.
- Avoid Flash and Frames - it may look cool in your site but it wouldn't do you any much good when google comes to crawl into your site or blog.
- Check your dynamic page URLs - when google crawls, it will not follow links that contain "session IDs" embedded in them.
- URL rewriting - what i understand is that static pages are better than dynamic pages.
- Keywords in file names - not so important but google may look at it once in a while.
- Google sitemaps - I don't really intend to use this since its time consuming but it helps to have one.
